Meet Chelsea Kavanagh, a full-time mom, and a full-time blogger! She is from East Midland Park, NJ and she is loving, dedicated, and sensitive. This is her story as a mom, blogger, and a consultant.
Q: What is your title, what do you do?
A: I am a full-time mom, who works front desk at an allergist, blogs about food, and also just became a consultant for Rodan + Fields.
Q: How did you get into the business you are in today?
A: I started taking pictures of food about two years ago and it all sort of fell into place. I love sharing my food recommendations with people. The mom life is new to me and I love sharing that experience with people as well. I just recently because a consultant for Rodan + Fields.
Q: What is the biggest challenge you had to face & overcame?
A: The biggest challenge was definitely trying to find that time for yourself while being a mom. You feel the pressure that everything has to be perfect because it’s not just about you anymore, but you realize it is okay to make mistakes and it is okay to have ME time.
Q: What is your work motto?
A: My work motto is “I didn’t come this far to only come this far”.
Q: What is the best advice to give someone who is interested in this industry?
A: This best advice I can give to someone who is starting something new is never give up and be as persistent as possible with whatever dreams you have.
Q: What do you like most about this industry?
A: I love meeting new people through what I do. Just hearing from people who blog and do the same thing as me is really cool. We can all learn a lot from one another.
Q: What would you want to tell your 15-year-old self?
A: I would tell myself to not care what others think and do what’s best for you. And spend time with people who lift you up, rather than bring you down!
Q: What does girl power mean to you?
A: To me girl power means supporting other women, being yourself, and working towards a time where we don’t have to say girl power.
And that’s this week’s, Wonderful Woman!
