A: I am a nail and Makeup Artist.

Q: How did you get into the business you are in today?
A: Funny story. While I was in high school, I loved art and makeup. My first job was as a freelance makeup artist. When I graduated high school and didn’t go to college. My family kept bugging me saying I never did anything with my life so I googled fastest technician course. What popped up? The nail technician course, so I decided why not!

Q: What is the biggest challenge you had to face & overcame?
A: Getting my nail licenses! It was one thing after another and for some reason, every time I had everything set something would happen and everything would fall through.
After a couple months, I was finally was able to get it!

Q: What is your work motto?
A: Worry is a misuse of the imagination.

A: Work hard. No one starts out being the best you need to work hard and practice a lot every day to become the best!

Q: What do you like most about this industry?
A: I love that this industry lets me be creative, and I can express my art.

Q: What would you want to tell your 15-year-old self?
A: “Go to college, you dummy!” One of my biggest regrets is not going to college right after high school. I’m currently in college but I wish I would have started earlier.

A: Girl power – having the strength to be who you want to be no matter the obstacle.
