Q&A With Heaven:
Q: What is your title / what do you do?
A: The path that I have been placed on in this cycle of my life is that of a coach/teacher/mentor. I have a group on facebook that is focused on personal growth for others as well as development of each person’s abilities. I am the spark that helps people to see their capabilities along with fostering their own personal confidence on their individualized paths. I also assist people one on one with life and spiritual coaching, pressing them to get through personal blocks and barriers in their spirituality which in turn, transforms their lives in a more positive and beneficial way for all of those around them. I use my educational degree along with my spiritual enlightenment to help others find their path and follow it. I provide intuitive guidance and deliver messages from spirit as well as any family members that may be connected to each person to help in their progress.
Q: How did you become aware of your gifts & abilities?
A: Since around the age of about 8, have been aware that things were slightly “different” for me. I have always had the ability to read people and their emotions and their intentions with others around me. It took a while to truly learn what this meant, as the people around me just assumed I had a big imagination. In my life growing up, I never learned or knew about the other side or spirituality as my family is all Christian and I always went to church in a more organized religion setting. As I grew older, I grew curious about this side of me that did not really have a valid explanation in the surroundings I grew up in. When I was able to research on my own, I went with it and started finding information and books on clairvoyance and mediumship that helped me understand more about who I was. The more that I learned and the more of my gifts that I embraced, the more clear my path was for me. It is still a learning process as I learn more things each and every day and do my best to stay humble and true to the light.
Q: What is the biggest challenge you have faced & overcame?
A: The biggest challenge that I have faced is learning to trust myself. This seems to be the biggest barrier most have when learning and developing their skills and abilities. I found to overcome it, I needed to learn to trust the universe and the path that had been set before me. Trusting and letting go of that sense of control we all feel we must have was HUGE but totally worth it. This process was much like the trust fall one sometimes does with friends or family. Trusting that the universe was not going to put anything in my path that I could not handle was a daunting task but I finally learned that not everything is meant to control. Developing abilities in itself is pretty scary when first starting as it can and will be overwhelming but once one learns to trust themselves and the messages and gifts they are given, it makes the path that much more beautiful.
Q: What’s your life & spiritual motto?
A: I don’t know if I have ever thought about a catchy motto or phrase in regards to my life. I think that the best I can come up with regarding this is just the path and the morals that I have chosen to follow. The path that I follow is one consumed with positive vibrations, light, love and support. I live my life with the thought that everything happens for a reason and to never judge anyone as you never know what they have brewing underneath the surface. I have been through dark times and I have overcome those times with the support of friends, spirit and sometimes complete strangers. often times a simple smile can turn someones entire perspective in a different direction. I suppose the closest “motto” I would follow would be,”do unto others as you would have done to yourself “.
Q: What’s the best advice to give someone who is having a difficult time?
A: Two words: trust yourself. The greatest thing anyone can do for themselves is to learn to trust themselves and learn to trust their path. Yes, life can be a pain in the butt sometimes, however, it is how we deal with that obstacle that defines us. Learning and knowing that we cannot control others, we can only control our reactions to people is the most empowering thing a person can do.this is the most simple and most difficult thing we can all learn to do in life. Once you have conquered this task, things will seemingly become much easier to handle.
Q: What do you like most about being intuitive?
A: I love being able to help people with their personal paths as well as their spiritual journey. As a social worker professionally, it is innately in me to help people. Helping people in all aspects of life is what makes me who I am. I love being intuitive as this is a way for me to reach people on a more personal level with more insight into their personal challenges that they face. When people come to me, they are not always fully aware of what is hindering them from personal growth. Being intuitive allows me to see deeper and allows me to get the information through to the person that is seeking help as a guide versus just someone who they are venting to. I may not always bring up information that is totally welcome at that moment in time but due to my connection with spirit, it is what they need to hear in order to release and move forward, ridding themselves of their personal barriers.
Q: What would you want to tell your 15-year-old self?
A: That is a good question. At 15, none of us truly know where our place is in life. Always trying to find our meaning as not quite an adult and not really a child anymore. I would probably tell her to not be so worried about being “grown” and learn to enjoy the moments that we often take for granted as children such as spending time with family.
Q: What does girl power mean to you?
A: Girl power… two very strong words. Girl power to me is anything that a woman can do that makes her feel empowered within herself and her path in life, be it at home as a stay at home mom, running the household or in an office or anything that makes her heart beat strong. Being strong as a woman and owning your own personal power and growth and being a positive influence in this world of craziness. Girl power is the strength of being independent and holding the confidence that is owned with that.
