Pin Up Doll Look Under $50!

Hi, hello there reader! Welcome to my blog where I write all positive, motivational, inspirational and loving posts.

Happy Halloween! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday since I was a little kid. This Halloween, my boyfriend, Jason and I step through a time warp and was inspired by the 1940s fashion!

I saw this dress at Annie Sez’s over the summer and it was retailed at $50. I feel in love with it and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it for my closest but also because I wanted to be a pinup girl for Halloween. I adore the style of the 1940s and 1950s. But also trying to get the most out of my money I waited for it to go on sale. I just so happened to be shopping one day at a Mandee’s (under the same company as Annie Sez) and there was my dress! Luckily for me, the store was having a 50% sale so I knew I could not miss out on this adorable polka dotted and cherry dress.

My shoes were purchased at one of my favorite stores, Plato’s Closest over the summer as well and I had already owned Levi’s denim jacket, pearl necklace, and a red bandana to tie the look together.

As for Jason’s outfit, he already owned blue jeans, and he wanted to wear his doc martens. We went to Wal-Mart and found the perfect white t-shirt for him that was $8 and a pair of suspenders at the party store for $9.99.

In total, I spent $42.99 on both of our costumes and all the items that were purchased will be used in future wardrobe as well as future costumes. Not bad at all considering costumes can be overly expensive only to wear for a few hours.

Have a Safe & Happy Halloween!
